Integrative nurse practitioners utilize training from conventional healthcare as well as other modalities (nutrition, psychology, functional medicine) to create personalized and evidence based care plans for their patients. Nicole specifically enjoys collaborating with other health care providers and wellness practitioners.

A women’s health nurse practitioner (WHNP) is a nurse practitioner with focused training in reproductive health, gynecology, and hormones. Nicole received her training in women’s health from the Yale School of Nursing and is Board Certified as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP-BC).

Integrative healthcare is care that recognizes the interconnectedness of the individuals body systems, environment, family/social/cultural history, and the greater context of the world we live in. Integrative care often draws on many modalities (conventional and complimentary) to find the best solution(s) for each patient.

Functional Medicine seeks to understand the body as a complex system and aims to restore the body to optimal functioning rather than manage symptoms or treat disease.

No, the focus of our practice is integrative women’s health. While our integrative approach may involve supporting many aspects of your whole body health, we do not have the resources to manage acute or emergency concerns.

We request that you have an established relationship with a primary care provider. We will help you find a provider if needed.

Yes, we are able to address routine GYN concerns including cancer screening at a designated annual visit. We may refer out for specific procedures or tests that we cannot complete in the office.

We request that you see your primary care provider for your annual physical.

In the case of a true medical emergency please dial 911 or go the the nearest emergency room.

For urgent concerns, please contact the office and we will do our best to accommodate you for a same or next day appointment. If we are unable to see you in the office we will refer you to a local urgent care center or emergency room.

We do not bill insurance directly. We will provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement based on your individual plan.

This allows us to keep healthcare costs reasonable while still providing the highest quality individualized care.

Bloodwork and imaging: When ordered through standard labs or imaging centers, these are billed to your insurance at your usual in‑network rate.

Prescribed Medications: Any prescriptions are processed by your pharmacy and billed directly to your insurance.

Specialty Testing & Supplements: Some advanced functional tests and nutritional supplements may not be covered—but HSA and FSA funds can often be used for these expenses.

Payment for appointments is due at the time of service. You may use any major credit card, FSA/HSA, check, or cash to pay for your appointments.

You will pay for bloodwork, imaging, or other standard testing through your insurance.
